Educational and rehabilitation children's intensives Gen.Camp started a new intervention in partnership with Superhumans center

The main goal is to help children survive the losses caused by the war, learn to perceive the new reality, adapt to it and integrate into modern Ukrainian society.
Our collaboration with Superhumans makes a lot of sense. Children who experienced significant losses as a result of the war faced the daunting challenge of adapting to a new reality.

In this process, the feeling of understanding and support from adults is extremely valuable for them. The members of Superhumans became real superheroes for us – people with extraordinary inner strength and understanding of what every child goes through. partnership is crucial for both those whose wounds are visible and those whose psychological scars remain unseen.

Together, we aim to grow stronger and fight for a brighter future for children.
Said Oksana Lebedeva, founder of Gen.Ukrainian
As part of the new intervention of Gen.camp, there will be several meetings of children with the heroes of Superhumans. Joint sports and creative projects, rest and conversations on various topics will help them not only learn new skills, but also support each other on the way to recovery and adaptation to a new life.
All Ukrainian children now are a little superhuman. And they have to live in the world of super people: those who are now fighting for victory, those who lose limbs while demining kilometers of our land, and those who changed their lives to save children.

The most important thing now is to help children realize their superpower and grow, push back from the consequences of war. Together with the Queen of Sweden's "Care about the children" foundation, we are happy to be partners with Gen.Ukrainian, to train child psychologists and change the future of Ukrainian children who experienced the horrors of war
Commented CEO Superhumans Center Olha Rudneva

Gen.Camp is an educational and rehabilitation intensives for children, which the Gen.Ukrainian team initiated more than a year ago in response to overcoming the psychological consequences of war.

During the year of operation in the camp, more than 250 children who experienced traumatic events due to the war – the loss of their parents, witnessed murders, bombings, shelling, were under occupation etc.

The Gen.Camp team and specialists help children survive the difficult experience of war and integrate it into their biographical experience to form a positive strategy for the future.
This time, almost 100 children will be rehabilitated in the camp. The project program has an intensive therapeutic nature and lasts 21 days. During the work with children the psychologists and teachers of the project use a variety of tools – group and individual therapy using various strategies and techniques with proven effectiveness.
