Non-governmental organisation that specialises in issues of childhood during the war.

About us

We specialise in issues of childhood during the war

Gen.Ukrainian is a non-governmental organisation that specialises in issues of childhood during the war and mental rehabilitation of children and adolescents who have experienced psychological trauma as a result of war, such as loss of parents, captivity or forced displacement.

We organise psychological intensives, develop innovative rehabilitation programs and conduct active scientific work.
We started our work in 2022, as a response to an acute challenge, with psycho-educational rehabilitation intensives, known as Gen.Camp, for children who have lost their parents.
Later, this initiative expanded into a comprehensive study of childhood during the war, studying its impact on the mental health, educational development and social opportunities of the younger generation of Ukraine.

The Gen team

consists of qualified psychologists and tutors, researchers, supervisors, human rights advocates, sociologists, managers and educators committed to responsible teaching.

We believe in the values of child-centeredness, a scientific approach and a safe relationship.

A society becomes strong and harmonious when children, their needs, and their dreams are at the heart of its values. Child-centeredness is the foundation upon which a happy future is built.
