Learning together:
How to support children during the war
In April 2024, Gen.Ukrainian, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, created an educational series for the Diia.Osvita platform. Its goal is to provide important answers to difficult questions from parents and teachers about how to help children cope with the consequences of war.
Over the course of 8 episodes, educators are introduced to how the brain works in a situation of anxiety, what reactions it triggers and what to do about it; which reactions are normal and which require our special attention; how to help children with autism spectrum disorder; how to cultivate resilience and take care of your resources in difficult times.

The series provides insight into simple and effective ways to stabilize the emotional state of children, ways to provide support and prevent the consequences of stress. It also contains information on how to teach children to influence their condition, manage their own thoughts, and master basic self-regulation techniques.
