People who support the development of Gen with their expertise, share our mission and and help ensure transparency in our work

The Advisory Board

The Advisory Board is a strategic consultative body of Gen.Ukrainian

Created to strengthen the organisation’s capacity, support its long-term vision, and uphold high standards of governance.

The Board brings together distinguished Ukrainian and international leaders with experience in education, human rights, business, international affairs, and strategic leadership. They provide independent expert guidance, help build partnerships, and strengthen trust — enabling Gen.Ukrainian’s initiatives to grow both in Ukraine and internationally.

We are proud to have leaders of such calibre standing alongside us. Their trust and shared values strengthen our mission: to restore a full childhood to children affected by war — through knowledge, science, and the support of responsible adults.

Members of the Advisory Board

  • Tymofiy Mylovanov
    President, Kyiv School of Economics

    Ukraine

"For me, supporting children and youth is an expression of responsibility toward the future. By supporting Gen.Ukrainian, I seek to ensure that assistance for children who have experienced war is grounded in knowledge, science, and research rather than assumptions. An approach strengthened by facts, education, and the engagement of new generations of professionals can stand the test of time and serve Ukraine in the long term".
  • Oleksandra Matviichuk
Human rights defender. Chairwoman of the Center for Civil Liberties (CCL). 2022 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate

    Ukraine

"Children in Ukraine are born and grow up under Russian shelling. Their childhood has unfolded amid a full-scale invasion. They witness how war destroys their homes, separates families, and erases a sense of the future. Our task, therefore, is to ensure that this war and the crimes endured become an experience that children can live with safely — and still have the right to happiness".
  • Michael Tory
Co-Founder and Chairman of Ondra Partners

    UK

"With the onset of the full-scale war in Ukraine, I came to understand that life had been quietly preparing me for moments of profound moral responsibility. Today, I feel an inner obligation to dedicate all my strength, knowledge, and networks to supporting Ukrainians in their vital struggle".
  • Сarl-Johan Westring
Board Member of Östkontoret & Sweden Ukraine Business Action

    Sweden

"Our children are our future. We can therefore never accept stolen childhoods. But when they are, we need to rehabilitate the children so they can develop and reach their full potential. That’s the core mission of Gen Ukrainian, and I am deeply committed to it".
  • Julia Kiryanova
CEO / Corporate Director / Business Leader

    Ukraine

"For me, the war became a powerful impetus to rethink my personal responsibility to society. Adults are saving the country today, while its future depends on whether we can help children survive the experience of war in a way that transforms it into a source of strength, shared values, and sustainable development for our nation".
