Gen.Ukrainian has received a Silver Effie at Effie Awards Ukraine — the most esteemed award in the field of marketing communications, which for over half a century has recognized ideas that truly work. For our team, this recognition is proof that even the most delicate expressions of humanity can become powerful instruments of change.
The awarded project, CRYONES, is an art book and the voice of Ukrainian children who have lived through war. Its mission is to help the world feel again where exhaustion and habituation have numbed empathy. From a Kyiv bookstore to the European Parliament, CRYONES has become a tool of cultural diplomacy, reaching the hearts of policymakers, donors, and thousands of people around the globe. The project not only reminded the world of the price of childhood during war, but also helped mobilize resources for children’s rehabilitation.
