Gen.Ukrainian is developing a strategic partnership with IMPACTA LAW

As part of the cooperation, the IMPACTA LAW team provides legal support for the Gen.Hope Center of Excellence in Child and Adolescent Mental Health – the flagship initiative of Gen.Ukrainian. The cooperation includes comprehensive legal support for the institutional development of the future Gen.Hope center in Kyiv.
Within this project, IMPACTA LAW supported the conclusion of a framework agreement on academic and institutional cooperation between Gen.Ukrainian and Kyiv School of Economics. The agreement concerns the construction of the Gen.Hope rehabilitation center, as well as the development of academic and scientific cooperation between the parties.
Gen.Ukrainian notes that Gen.Hope is being created as a long-term support system for Ukrainian childhood – with professional standards, international partnerships, and a strong institutional foundation. It is the first hub in Ukraine for long-term research, education, and rehabilitation in the field of child and adolescent mental health, established in partnership with KSE.
The Center is being developed as a national platform for advancing recovery programmes, interdisciplinary research into the impact of war on children, and professional development for specialists in the fields of education and mental health. It brings together researchers, practitioners, and institutional representatives to implement long-term systemic changes in the field of child support.
The project is supported by the IMPACTA LAW team, which combines expertise in real estate and infrastructure, corporate, tax, banking, antitrust, and finance law. The team is led by partner Anna Pogrebna and includes partners Viacheslav Korchev, Viktoriia Fomenko, and Illya Tkachuk, as well as counsel Vasyl Yurmanovych and Olena Savchuk.
comments Anna Pogrebna,
Partner at IMPACTA LAW
“It is difficult to overstate the positive impact of Gen.Ukrainian’s work on Ukraine’s future, as the children and adolescents who have largely been deprived of the joys of childhood as a result of Russian aggression will be able to recover from psychological trauma and build a better future that, we believe, awaits them. We are pleased to have the opportunity to apply our expertise and combine the efforts of several practices to provide the high-quality legal support to the organisation’s projects”
comments Oksana Lebedieva,
founder of Gen.Ukrainian
“It is very important for us that Gen.Hope is working with partners who are ready to provide long-term and systemic support. We are building a project that is intended to operate for years and become part of a new infrastructure of support for children in Ukraine. Such work requires not only psychologists, researchers, or international partners, but also a strong legal foundation. Partnership with IMPACTA LAW helps us move in this direction”
Gen.Ukrainian is a non-governmental organisation that studies childhood in times of war and provides professional psychosocial support to children and adolescents who have experienced traumatic events.
