At Oxford University a panel discussion dedicated to the protection of Ukrainian children took place

On the third year of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, St Antony’s College, University of Oxford, hosted the discussion "Childhood under Attack: 3 Years of Russia’s Full-Scale Aggression Against Ukraine." The event focused on the devastating impact of war on Ukrainian children and the urgent need for both immediate and long-term action.
The war has brought unbearable suffering to Ukraine’s children, depriving them of their basic rights, education, safety, and, in many cases, their families and homes. In the face of this profound injustice, the participants reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to supporting children affected by the war.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our distinguished speakers, each of whom has demonstrated extraordinary dedication to advocating for and protecting Ukraine’s children:

- Dame Rachel de Souza, Children's Commissioner for England;
- Sasha Romantsova, Executive Director of the Centre for Civil Liberties in Ukraine and co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize;
- Inna Hryhorovych, MBE, Headteacher of St Mary’s Ukrainian School;
- Oksana Lebedieva, Founder of Gen.Ukrainian;
- Tetyana Nesterchuk, Barrister and Arbitrator at Fountain Court Chambers.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Marnie Howlett, Dr. Michael Rochlitz, the Oxford University Ukrainian Society, and moderator Kseniia Iaremych for co-organizing this event and the warm welcome within the university walls.
